Some of the so called "boutique' beer is very good here. But the main lager brewers are just thirst quenchers, not drunk for the taste. Most Aussie beer is designed to be nearly frozen before pouring down the less than discerning gullet.

oh savoir..i can tell while i am drinking, or trying to drink it whether it is cheap or not...lol.. i am not a drinker, so i appreciate good rum on rare occasion only. and i do not drink enough to earn a hangover....
