I'd say that if you replaced the prefilters with new ones, then flushed with fresh, you'd get away with a month no problem.

If you left it full of seawater it would reek, but you'd probably be OK if again, you replaced the prefilters before running it, and then gave it a good run on fresh first.

Note, when you run on fresh water you can't use the normal operating pressure on the membrane.

I just run our little 35E for about 30 min a week just like checking my oil and cleaning my solar panels no issues save product water to rerun for battery water when in port
