Storing Storage containers Onboard

We primarily use Tupperware-style storage containers on board (lock and lock or similar) rather than zip locks but have come up with a problem that I haven't seen discussed here. Our empty containers are stored in a net bag about the size of a Santa Claus sack in our quarter berth. Since many other things are also stored in this berth (aka the garage) we are always moving this sack out and around the boat.
Is this just the nature of having available empty containers on board or am I missing something about living with containers?

Re: Storing Storage containers Onboard

I know that feeling and I'm sure others have the same problem as well. When I get containers that fit inside each other, which looks good at the store, it turns out that most of them are too small and don't get used despite them storing in a small volume. I find that I also end up losing lids... sort of like losing socks in the washer/drier... I have no idea where they end up, but they tend to disappear.

Socks are keys in their larval form. Ever find a key that you have no idea where it came from, or what it fits? There you go.....
