I tried that and ended up with wine everywhere and only a cup of sparkling wine!~ mist soda streams have a warning about not putting anything but water in them

Damn it! I had visions of trying one with coffee and tea, and whatnot, just to experience how weird that would taste.

Re: Sodastream Review?

The Soda Stream instructions specifically mention that you should only fizz clean cold water. I assume this is because the fizzer can become fouled/dirty and I don't see a way to remove it for cleaning. In fact, there are no cleaning instructions either.

The colder the water the more co2 the water absorbs, so if we finish a bottle before dinner we put cold water in the bottle and stick it in the fridge overnight.

Re: Sodastream Review?

I thought I posted on this thread, but apparently it didn't go through.

You can purchase the Coke syrup at Sams Club in the US for just under $70. We have 5 gallons of the stuff on our boat with a 5lb CO2 tank and regulator.

Gordon Food Services sells to everyone. I think there's a discount for wholesale, but they also sell retail, and their retail prices are really good.
