Funny....what this forum needs is a highlight function. I would have made "Antipodeans" stick out like a neon sign.

My industry board has one....quite useful.

Re: Secret Sailors Food

Was in Cala Mayor this morning.
As I looked at the boats in the marina, some very beautiful I must say, They all seemed small without the beam of a Catamaran.

Im thinking that Marmite, Jamon and Catamarans are things you either love or hate.

I love them all.!!

Thread drift. . . .

You probably all know that antipodal means the spot on the globe diametrically opposed to your location. I used to spend a lot of time thinking about various antipodes.

Well here's a fun little website that lets you click on any spot on earth and "tunnel through" to immediately see its antipodal point.

Nifty map!
Spain is the antipodal point of NZ. Nothing corresponds to Australia - it falls in the middle of the North Pacific.

Fills most of the North Atlantic maybe?

Add or subtract 180* to or from longitude, rename latitude.

London's antipodale point is the Antipodes Islands....... funny that.
