Hello there Does anyone have recipes to exchange on this site, for I have looked and looked and can find nothing, despite the topic of food being paramount in every anchorage I have ever visited?? Pot-luck parties abound and the most amazing International food appears, so does anyone have recipes that are so mouth-wateringly good that to not share them would be a crime most hideous!!! Thank you |

For a selection of curry type recipes (mixture of Indian and Asian), most of whoch I my own variants on well known dishes, go here Slacker's Haven • View topic - Weyalan's ocasional curry recipe thread N.B. Mods feel free to wave the mod stick if you feel that the link is inappropriate... |

Well Weyalen "Curry recipe thread" is so impressively varied and indepth that I shall restrain myself from adding another curry to list. However, I believe the theme of the thread is warranted and worthy of development. If I can remember my chicken and tuna a la Alan and my beuf medici and fruit crumble recipes I shall post them for your delectation. Regards Alan

| Roasted Italian Sausage w/tomatoes and white beans
Here's a one pot meal I recently got from a friend and have made several times that is quite tasty and easy. Roasted Italian Sausage w/tomatoes and white beans 2.5# Sweet Italian sausage 3 pts. cherry tomatoes 1 lg. Onion cut into 1.5" chunks 4 cloves of garlic sliced 3 Tbs. olive oil x-virgin 1.5 Tbs. balsamic vinegar 2 tsps. dried thyme 2 bay leafs 3 16 oz. cans white beans (cannellini) drained w/ 1/2 cup of liquid retained Oven rack low, 5 min. before, turn oven on 425'. Mix everything but beans and liquid in a roasting pan and roast until sausage is browned and tomatoes reduced to a thick sause. Remove from oven - mix in beans and liquid and continue cooking till heated through - 10 min.? Serves 5-8 enjoy!
