Re: Prepper Boat Thread

Well, consider that there has been no OBJECTIVE scientific monitoring of radiation in the pacific. No monitoring of radiation level in seafood catches from the pacific. So how can anyone declare it safe?

And here's the report of fish testing in 2015. https://youtu.be/vnhrIGn4fOk

Anyway my only point is there are lots of studies being done. The hard part is to determine whether they're fear-mongers or cover up agents or legit.

Cite? Google's finding lots of levels being posted, including from Japanese newspapers.

Re: Prepper Boat Thread

Since this is a prepper thread... you can buy useable geiger counters for US$ 250 and up. Google it.

Don't guess, don't trust... educate yourself and measure it.

Would anyone who finds seafood with an unusual amount of radioactivity please do us the courtesy of posting in this thread.

So maybe we can get a64pilot to change the thread title to, "Boy Scout Boat Thread"?

Which goes back to what myself, and at least one other has said; they - our gov - either don't really know, have not REALLY looked, or are not telling us.

Going way off topic and heading to politics...

Re: Prepper Boat Thread

Agreed it could be headed that way. I think it was brought up as a matter that boat preppers might want to be aware of - and boaters in general headed out onto the big P.

Man, he has the tattoos, the vest, the beard, the hat, the belly, the accent and never takes a sip out of that cup (unless I missed it somehow). Quite the archetype!

A person that you meet each day? The closest we have to that here is the guy four coconut trees down who has a carabao and 4 binadu and never wears a shirt or shoes. Oh, wait, that's me (I do wear a shirt sometimes...)... I still think I like "Boy Scout Boat Thread" better...

At $1,700 this air gun is not for everyone but I think it looks like the ultimate tool for hunting animals like rabbits, squirrels and even small boars.https://youtu.be/HvKTPrzZKu8

There are lots of good links in the description of the video
