Question Motor for Katadyn 35/40

Does any one know who manufactures drive motor for Katadyn 35/40 and where I can order one (preferably at less than watermaker prices).

I thought the motors where different between the 35 and 40. One being plastic and the other metal. I also think they are designed by PUR. So I think they are proprietary.

To further complicate things, there is an old style and a new style for the 35... Don't have the numbers, but thought you might want to know so you don't order one based on a single number.

Good luck, I would contact Katadyn (or whoever they are owned by today).
