LP GAS

HI,

We have a force 10 stove which is powered by propane. To use the stove we switch on the LP Gas switch on the control panel, then we switch the LP Gas Control switch to on. This is the switch that shows a red light that indicates that the propane is flowing. Yesterday I noticed that the red light went out, the the LP Gas is still flowing. Meaning I am still able to use the stove with both switches in the on position, but there is no red light. How do we fix?

Thanks!

Re: LP GAS

No idea but you'd be better off with a modern leak detector, like this :

S-1A Propane and CNG Fume Detector from Fireboy-Xintex

Re: LP GAS

I'd prefer to keep the system we have. It's just the light is not working, could it be a fuse that powers the light or a battery that needs to be replaced? Not sure if anyone else has had experience with this?

Re: LP GAS

Depends. If you have an old panel with a light bulb, change the bulb. If you have something with an LED on a circut board in a potted (encapsulated in plastic) box time to buy a new one (panel).
