Looking for SMEV grill.

I have a 7 year old French cat in eastern Canada, and the pots on the SMEV grill (Model 4013) appear to be rusting. I patched them up with an epoxy, and they are working reasonably safely (no more propane smell), but want to replace the grill with the same model.

Does anyone know if SMEV is sold in North America? The Italian manufacturer will not answer my email. Should I try to buy in England? The brand appears well represented there.

I would flood the Italian Manufactor with e-mails, and if that does not work, start sending faxes...Never take no for an answer.

Well, spamming Italy didn't help. Spamming North American suppliers was no good either. However, when I spammed the UK, a wonderful thing happened.

I got an offer to assist from Mailspeed Marine, and amazingly, within 4 days, I had the grill in my hands. I may have paid a small premium, but got the grill that fits the hole. All is well.
