Re: How Often Do You Use Your Propane Oven ?

Haha, I don't even know how to light mine, so it serves as storage for pots, pans, and grill tools. I use the stovetop burners every day, though.

be excellent to each other

Re: How Often Do You Use Your Propane Oven ?

I've used ovens on boats maybe 3 times total. On my Hunter 30, I took out the alcohol oven and just replaced it with a 2-burner stove, so I could use the freed up space for something with more need - A fridge in my case.

Re: How Often Do You Use Your Propane Oven ?

We liveaboard year round - in Boston for now - we use the oven not infrequently, and it is a great placed for pans! Do not have, and would not have a microwave. Installed a freezer last winter, and glad I did. Ice cubes for gin and tonics when it hits 95 degrees!! We have a grill out on the rail but don't use it much - even away from the dock. When we leave for fulltime cruising, may leave it behind ....

I will see if I have any pictures, I am off the boat for several weeks visiting family in the U.S. If needed I can send some after I return to my boat.
