How Fast Does a Wallas Stove respond ?

How fast does the Wallas Diesel fired stove respond to changes in heat settings.

Is it instant, like a propane system, or a bit slower, like an electric element system?

I would assume that it HAS to be quicker to respond to changes in heat setting than a Dickens diesel stove.

Thank you

I find it more like an electric, the coran top has to heat up and disipate heat.

I converted to propane from a Wallas just for that reason and have never looked back.

Re: How fast does a Wallas Stove respond?

Thanks, I'm no chef, but I grew up with a propane stove in the house. My previous house had natural gas and it was good.

I'm currently using an electric, and I find I hate it. If the Wallas is more like the electric stove, I'm defiantly going to have to use something else.

Thanks a bunch.
