Sounds like you're already getting the joy of paying our incredibly high property taxes! Just think, this is one of the few places in the country where real estate has not busted, so you'll just get to pay even more.
Hope your Whidbey place didn't get damaged in the December storm. They clocked 100 mph on Whidbey. Do note that if you're going to be in Suquamish, their beaches have been hit with the red tide. No clamming there for a while. ID
