mazatlan at rossoneros... shrimp and corn truffle pizza.....to DIE for.....follow it with fried snickers. yes--fried snickers. with ice cream and chocolate sauce. food orgy.
rossoneros is a wine bar across street from marina mazatlan.
monday night football special is hamburgers , 3 different kinds of presentation with awesome deep fried potato slices for 49 pesos---yummmm. but that pizza is incredible.

Friends & I used to ride our motorbikes down to Ensenada from Canada, back when I was 19, 20. Never tried the fish tacos. When I was down here in 1997, never tried the fish tacos. Today, went & tried them. Not for me! Tacos without ground beef just isn't right! lol
Tried a few varieties of fish tacos - not for me! 160 pesos lighter, went back to Alfonsos for fettucine alfredo, again (110 pesos). Great fish market across the path, though!

I spend A LOT of time in La Paz. If you're a carnivore and if you're looking for a place where the locals go rather than the tourists, visit Rancho Veijo.

Tell them El Profesor sent you, and order the Tacos de Arrachera. To die for.

there is a carnivore's delight retaurant in mazatlan of the first meat orgy order-- buy by the kilo and awesomeness --comes with tortillas and alll the fixins...el montelayo or sounds like that...is plain deeelishusss...bangkaboat--you WILL love it...i will post exact name and address when i can wrench it from the soul who introduced me to it....is not a tourist place.

As you see I need more food destinations. Where should one plan on sailing to get good foods? If there isn't good eats why should one risk life and boat to come?

Sail up to Danmark for the best Yoghurt of your life, lots of yummy herring, too.

mazatlan--meat orgy place---does not sell beer but ye are allowed to bring yer own and they will place into fridge and bring to ye as you need, when ye go home, if any left, it goes with ye....

Cruising for food? You need to sail to the Mediterranean, for fine French food and wine tours. Absolutely Southern France!
