fish tacos 3 for 2 dollars in ensenada at the row of taquerias across fromthe fishmarket-- the one on the end of the row at the street--- they are good.
Friends & I used to ride our motorbikes down to Ensenada from Canada, back when I was 19, 20. Never tried the fish tacos. When I was down here in 1997, never tried the fish tacos. Today, went & tried them. Not for me! Tacos without ground beef just isn't right! lol
Tried a few varieties of fish tacos - not for me! 160 pesos lighter, went back to Alfonsos for fettucine alfredo, again (110 pesos). Great fish market across the path, though!

La Paz?

I spend A LOT of time in La Paz. If you're a carnivore and if you're looking for a place where the locals go rather than the tourists, visit Rancho Veijo.

Tell them El Profesor sent you, and order the Tacos de Arrachera. To die for.

I like beer.............Germany?
I like shrimp, is this Vietnam now a days?

As you see I need more food destinations. Where should one plan on sailing to get good foods? If there isn't good eats why should one risk life and boat to come?
You'll love Germany, much more good stuff than beer!
Try a smoked Halibut with Black bread, a cold Flensburger Pilsner and an Aquavit!
Sail up to Danmark for the best Yoghurt of your life, lots of yummy herring, too.
Over to Poland for delicious Cold Cuts and funny Vodka Drinks...

Hands down the Baltic!
Just avoid the Swedish Surströmming!

Re: Food Cruising

I think I need to stick with fruits and nuts, washed down with cabbage soup. That way there is more room for beer. Best beer is in the PNW.

Re: Food Cruising

Cruising for food? You need to sail to the Mediterranean, for fine French food and wine tours. Absolutely Southern France!
