Re: Favorite cocktail
There is nothing quite like a cold beer after dropping the anchor at the end of a passage. We always stick a couple in the fridge for this purpose.
However, my cocktail of choice is.... wait for it.... a Painkiller, of course!

Re: Favorite cocktail
Painkiller for me too, though a Cuba Libre will do at a push.

Re: Favorite cocktail
Maybe not cocktails but....
Hot day on water - G&T
Cold day on water - coffee and brandy
or better yet, whatever you're shouting

Re: Favorite cocktail
Ah, cocktail hour. When my father is on board, the passage plan must show the anchor down by 16:30, or he will not approve it.
Our faves:
1. Gin martini with olives, on the rocks. Just a drop of vermouth.
2. G&T
3. Pimm's Cup
4. An unnamed one which I made up, a modified screwdriver -- vodka, orange juice, cayenne pepper sauce.
there are others .. .

Nice One!
We have Mount Gay for frozen Pina Coladas - but often just rum/orange/pineapple(base for pina colada).
Beer - "Land Shark"
Jack Daniels and Coke(or whatever is there -including chocolate milk)...
