Red face Desperately Seeking Kerosene Stove Burners

Help!! Have a three burner marine stove, and the burners are leaking kero. Does any one know where I can get them repaired or where I can purchase replacements, without costing an arm & a leg. My once hefty frame has dramatically reduced in size due to the fact that I now have no cooking facilities. Hope to hear from someone before I fade away.

Cheers,
Graham "MOOREA"

I passed 2 flat wicks thru a masson jar lid and bult a gimbaled braket with some alluminium rods...works very well for just about anything...not bad for a $3 invest.

until you get your stove fix?

Re: Desperately Seeking Kerosene Stove Burners

There is a source here in the states:

714-288-9259 A & H Enterprises, A & H Enterprises is the only North American service center for Optimus and Svea stoves.

for Kero burners but they run about 75.00 usd per these days. They happily ship internationally.
You might be able to re-build them(if parts are available) or get them brazed up if the pipes are leaking.
I recently found a pair of these in a 2nd hand marine shop for 15 ea usd and They are available often in 2nd hand hiking gear shops and on E-bay as well.
Good luck!

Graham, please don't fade away, try these guys Pressure stove, lamp & Lantern index

I have purchased bits and pieces for Kero burners from them in the past in order to rebuild my burners. Both times, I got great service even when I had to wait some weeks for them to get new stock of something or another. Website has good info on various types of kero burners.

FWIW, I love kero stoves!

You have not described how they are leaking , so that makes it hard to suggest a fix.
Generally they are easy to rebuild. I have found the following firm useful over many years, and they will give expert advice as well.Brandt Bros Est. 1878141 Devonshire St

None of the suggested links lead to a burner to buy - but I have some!
