Re: CNG

i filled my 5 gallon tank in sd at the most pricey place i could--only because i had to at the time for convenience's sake--cost me 17 dollars, and i am still using it now, in august. is a good price for meal fill.....here is less than 10 dollars to fill, plus transportation to and from the gasapasa station, a propane fill joint. i say is awesome cheep.

A 5 gallon bottle of propane will last 60 to 90 days and costs 100 pesos (about $8 to $9) to fill in Mexico. I have never seen CNG in Mexico, Costa Rica, Ecuador; didn't see it but maybe it lurkes in the shadows in French Polynesia or Hawaii. Propane, like so much else, is hideously expensive in Tahiti...

Little hard to find, but lighter than air...if it leaks, won't collect in bilge...safer than propane. I have two bottles...willing to drive a bit to exchange or fill. Anyone have good source on Chesapeake Bay?

Zeehag, that was supposed to be sorry for my slow reply! Fat fingered typing with a burning cigar stump clenched in me teeth!
