Anyone Try Hydro or Aeroponics on Board ?

Here's an interesting idea for small self watering system.https://youtu.be/_OFlkJ70TCc they don't really explain it but the water level stays below the jug of water where it can only come out when air goes in through the hole in the cap and that only happens when the water level drops below that point.

Just wanted to bump this thread. Very cool set ups and ideas!

All I make onboard is pasta, ricotta cheese and bean sprouts (repurposing used milk or juice carts work great) . About to grow herbs in the hard dodger.
