Which school to choose for Yacht master Ocean Certificate

I¨m looking for School which provide, Yacht master Ocean courses

I would love if there was a school who would at least do some of the training on a Catamaran. but for now i have only found these 3 schools

· One Stop Sailing
· All abroad Sailing Academy
· Commodore yachting

Location can be any where in the world from July

Perhaps I am out of the loop these days but my understanding is that a YM Ocean is an add on to a YM ticket that doesn't require practical exam.

If possible I would do the RYA Yachtmaster Offshore. That's the preeminent leisure ticket. That can be commercially endorsed by the MCA. In the UK to allow for commercial,operation on non IMO vessels.

The Ocean ticket is an add on and a dubious one at that ( and I'm a holder ) it should be done if you have a interest in celestial , but otherwise is of little advantage.

IYT. Seem to be transitioning their form of Yachtmaster to separate into two streams , a solely leisure YM and a commercial " master of yachts "

I would call IYT and ask them these questions. IYT is also commercially endorsed MCA just the same as RYA and is here in North America if that's where your from. When I called IYT they mentioned some key differences between IYT and RCA that might make a difference for you.
