What to get for preventer on Tayana FD-12

I have a Tayana FD-12, its a heavy displacment boat. Officially Tayana 51. Trucker weighed her at 44k, although she was listed at 36.
Any ideas on what to get for a preventer?

This boat is no club racer. I'd like to be able to single hand and at times take my kids on shorter passages.
Also I plan to do up and down the US east coast every fall and spring.
