I still see them on some of the seine skiffs around Alaska. I'm not sure why the fishermen like them?

Golf cart tire...I have seen on a couple of Nordic Tugs

BTW...they are not for protection from hitting things

They are for not marking up the metal/abrasion

I totally made one last night. It took me the whole length of the movie "No Country For Old Men" and I made a baggy wrinkle about 9 inches long
