UK's Round The Island Race

I struggled to find a spot to place this message, but with the challenges of seamanship to be faced in a huge fleet of yachts all heading 60 miles around one island on a fresh day, thought this was the place.

We took part with an all family crew and finished without incident in 113 position. A look at the pictures will show you how crowded it was.

Well done, Swagman. Top 10 per cent finish. Must have been some great sailing looking at the pictures.

Mike Perham tore himself away from his Aussie sweetheart to come back to the UK for that race, I don't know what boat he was in though so I can't check his result. He was doing it in aid of Prostate Cancer UK though.
