Reviving an old thread here for a moment with a specific question.

Does anyone have specific recommendations for length/weight of chain to use with a Gale Rider? Does it go inline with the rode? Or can it be attached to the rode (tied) a short bit ahead of the anchor?

Also, any opinions on attaching a small mushroom anchor to the bottom of a Gale Rider as they do to a Shark?
