Surfer or sailor?

Now lets here how you would handle this situation. Given the specs of my boat, I would have looked for shelter else where before trying this.

By the way, this is taking place in port in Spain.

That is almost the scariest thing I have seen. Can you imagine the pucker factor on that crew? They most have needed to get into port very badly.

I have seen almost the same sort of thing with a north swell here in the islands. Big swells into the north anchorages with the waves sweeping over some yachts. Serious pucker factor.
