I pulled it from under the v-berth to get a picture. Yes, you loose some travel distance but time is not an issue for me.

I have just found this system. I have yet to try it. It will be slower but seems to be a much easier system that using a gri gri and ascender system.
I have used the ascender system and it does take some work and set up has to be correct. The mammut system looks to be much easier and is a cheap solution.

I have seen it done like this. There is a little more to transitioning but nothing compared to a FROG or TEXAS (Top Climber), set-up.
