I really like her, but that write up isn't quite correct. He'd already pretty much completed his circumnavigation in a smaller boat. He got the Luders 33 in the Caribbean. I don't think he ever crossed an ocean in, but it ended up in Hawaii at some point.

Ask people with experience and skittish is good, if you can understand it, then you are perfectly reasonable.. Fearless people generally get themselves killed. Unfortunately, they rarely go alone. As you said "unless you have to." or can become comfortable knowing what you face, why would you (or anyone).
