Route assistance for FL Boat delivery

I'm going to be delivering a boat with a friend of mine from the east coast (Jacksonville Area) of Florida to the Gulf. 6' Draft 63'4" Bridge clearance with the stick up.

What's the best route to get around the State and the Keys?

Thanks

"the Gulf" is a rather large area. Where is your destination?
Your options are basically three, the Channei Five bridge, Moser Channel (the 7 Mile bridge) or go to Key Wesr and turn right.j

Re: Route assistance for FL Boat delivery

I think if I were making that trip with a 6 ft draft, I would take Hawk channel all the way to Key West rather than trying to cross Florida Bay. If you decide to cross Fl bay, I would suggest daytime travel only with a good lookout, lots of shoals ( did anyone tell you about the fines for running aground and damaging the sea floor? ) , and lots of pot bouys.
