I have just read a book "Around the World Cruising Guide" by Alan Phillips.
This has to be one of the best books on the cruising life that I have ever read. Alan is an Australian and he tells it as it is, no bullshit. It is the only book that I have read on cruising that gives you some idea of what it is really like, or should be like. No political correctness, no whitewashing, just reality. His web site is sailing crew wanted for cruising lifestyle I have not met alan and I have no commercial interests in his book |
