Years ago, when planning for the Puerta Vallarta race
, the pre-race planning committee published a wind
rose/vector chart for the typical wind
conditions found along the coast of Baja
. I'm looking for something similar that will give the low/high/average wind speed and direction, for each month, along the entire west coast Washington
. I have two trips planned, Vancouver to Los Angeles in Sept/Oct, and Cabo in Oct/Nov. Would love to have the historical wind information available for trip planning.
Side note - I have found the NWS historical wind buoy data; That gives the hourly data, for US, but it is a lot of work to digest down to the typical wind patterns for planning purposes. Any slick website or reference material with this info?
