Fog...

Heading out to the Wednesday night beer can race in the fog:

I didn't take any pictures after the race actually started, but we did have some tight crossing situations...

Yes, the "light haze" prevented us from seeing the pin from the location of the committee boat.

Yes. If a 20,000 ton tanker came out of it at 20 knots I'd call it something else also.

It is interesting you say that because every wednesday night a tug towes the fireworks barge to Chicago from Indiana for the Wednesday night fireworks display. He called on the race channel and determined with the race committee to pass south of the race course.
