Engines Powerful Enough?

Probably a good reason to take up that optional upgrade on the motors when purchasing a new yacht.

Hope the skipper had laundry facilities on board to deal with his shorts afterwards.

I don't understand the commentary -- motor not powerful enough to keep him ahead of the waves? Running before waves like that, the problem, as I understand it, is going slow enough to keep under control and avoid a broach. Speed is exactly what you don't want. Or what?
