I came across this video while looking for something else.
This lady does such a elegant job of docking,I just had to post it

That's the secret.. preparation..
Set your fenders and lead your fore and aft lines to a central part of the boat where you have a line set and its easy peasy.. even if you've a breeze blowing you off the dock..
Just need a nimble bimble..
Most common fault I see is folk hanging the fenders after running the lines..
