Although I would love to take credit for this little gem,,, the truth is this my wife's idea.

When our dink is tied to GAME PLAN, we noticed that with any sort of wave action at all, the painter would pull tight and jerk the dink around. If the waves were even moderate the shock load could be substantial.

What we did was to tie a loop in the painter after securing it to the boat. Then take a common bungee cord, hook one end in the loop and the other to GAME PLAN. The bungee then acts as a shock absorber and,,,, no more jerking around / shock loads.

You'll have to play around with it a little to get the lengths right but this is really a cool idea guys.

Don't tell her I said that.
