Why is it that the chart used for the reconstitution differs with the one at post 59? It shows rocks which does not cover when the other one show under water rocks.

To do with that. Is he a god?

There will be no lasting, plausible conspiracy theories with this incident. Very few people would have any motivation for maintaining a complex lie, and it would take lots and lots of people. There are all the crew, all the passengers, and all the witnesses -- remember, dozens of private boats came out to help.

People can speculate now but only a nutter would stick to a conspiracy theory on this one.

Can be a critic of someone who as not be proven of the same.

Simple -- he knows how it can happen! However, he didn't have 4,000 lives at risk. You may not see the difference but I do, and I appreciate his honesty.

Not to me. I wouldn't want Rivera to be captain of a cruise ship either, but ... he didn't take that job. This guy did.

Did anyone see on the FOX special last night when the staff member said the captain and his blond "friend" came to the dining area at 10:30pm, asking for dinner to be prepared for them? The kitchen staff member said they were astonished that he was insisting they make them something to eat when the staff had so many issues with lack of power, plates and kitchenware strewn everywhere, and everything in such an uproar due to the listing and general chaos in the kitchens. This would have been an hour after impact, if the timeline shows to be true.

Excuse me but if we are to take your second sentence as wisdom, then all of the previous post must be considered BS.

I did hear that as well. It seems too incredible to be true. Time will show if there is an alternate explanation for it. If it proves to be true, the captain had gone nuts.

Thanks....I knew I wasn't imagining it! I tried the 20/20 website again and the story is now available:

Cruise Ship Confidential

They first talk about where he was at the 4:52 mark.
