Geary, the weather
guru in Bahia
Concepcion inside the Sea of Cortez
, broadcasts his forecast
daily on HAM frequency, 3.968 LSB, at 1345Z. If you are not a HAM, of course you can listen, but not participate. If you are a HAM, and can't copy Geary well, other cruisers will provide a relay for you. Usually the propagation is such that boats going up the outside can pick up his forecasts. You could always contact another boat on VHF
and get Geary's forecast
from them. He is very aware of the need of weather updates for northbound boats, and will do all he can for you.
