A sailor who keeps his boat at a dock
in our neighborhood tried to leave just a little bit late on an ebb today around 8 AM.
As of 7:30 PM (black dark) he finally got free.
I don't know where he went, but Vessel Assist was trying all day to free him.
You can imagine how well THAT went by looking at these pictures taken at mid morning and around noon.
Low was around 1:30.
A couple of my sailor friends from the neighborhood tried to help him kedge free with halyards, but by the time he agreed to try it was too late. Oh, well...
