That was the ferry Queen of Oak Bay, I had forgotten all about it. I see that it's still in operation https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MV_Queen_of_Oak_Bay but I guess a lot of the smaller boats in the picture are not.



I remember seeing it on the news as one of those accidents I could only shake my head at, like the Costa Concordia, but I don't live in the area so it drifted from memory.

I wonder what happened to the one who forgot to replace the cotter pin on the nut?
