Re: Website recommendations...

Hey Ardi,

I'm new too, but I'll throw out some of the sites I visit.

Sailing Anarchy - all about racing if you're into that
Redirect to the Sailing Main Index

Pango - great marine electronics blog
Panbo: The Marine Electronics Weblog

S/V Nomadness - for the love of technology and combining a nomadic lifestyle with gizmos
Nomadness | Geek expressionism at sea

Good Boat Gear - For buying stuff or checking prices, I use a Seattle online source
GoodBoatGear.com

Allen Edwards L-36 - Recently discovered this site. Excellent resources, especially all the detail on soft shackles. Still haven't poured through all the articles and resources.
L-36.com

Ardi

There are thousands of boat related sites on the internet and more in publication... What are you specifically looking for?

If your just looking for general stuff from around the world Latitidue 38 (Electronic Edition) is free. But any magizine from Lats & Atts to Sailing World. which provide you with what you orginally asked for.

If you are looking for reviews... Practical Sailor is the best by far

There are also hundreds of Yahoo Groups specific to type of boats or locations... A few are: Southbound Group (Mexico & Central America); Cruisers_Network_Online (Caribbean), World Cruisers and Circumnavigation. Otherwise type in sailing in the yahoo groups search engine and see what pops up.

Good luck!
