Virginia Boy's Girl

Hi ... I'm Leslie and have decided it's time I catch up and learn a bit more about sailing and my future life as a cruiser.

Yep as a Cruiser you have to make those decisions every day, take a nap now or later, take a swim, go for a hike, do some job on the boat or take a nap.... naps seem to more frequently win out!!! My hard decisions will start again about Dec 10.... two days after I get back on my boat!

Let's see, a cruiser's life:

Wake up with the sun. Have a coffee.
Do boat projects until around noonish. Have brunch/lunch.
Go have some fun for the next several hours. Or, if "too much" fun the day before, have a nap.
Get ready for sundown.
Sundowners - usually socializing.
Get to bed, sometime.

thanks for the welcome, James.

Reality Check and Intentional Drifter:
yep, I'll fit right in ... I love a cup of coffee at sunrise and have the nap habit down already.

Bad Santa: Eric and I are northern VA; you?

I now live in Winchester but grew up and worked in Fairfax for decades. I keep my boat in the northern neck, quite a drive but cant afford Annapolis.

Aloha and Welcome aboard!
I had the experience of being stationed aboard a Cruiser in Norfolk for a bit. Lived aboard ship for that couple of years and spent time touring battlefields and parks as well as traveling to Wash. DC to see friends.
regards,
