Vic Finch

Hi
We have just joined the Cruisers Forum and are keen to communicate with sailors who have sailed in areas we would like to tackle. We are new to sailing with only coastal sailing under our belt along the East coast of Australia. Our yacht is presently situated in Tonga and we would like to make plans to sail it back to Australia. We are keen to learn of the best route and time of year to embark on this journey. We will be in no hurry so we are keen to take in as many of the best Islands along the way. Books and educational material we will be keen to aquire. We live outside Cairns so if you are in the area let us know
Great sailing
Vic

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Its good to have you here and asking those kind of questions. Sorry I don't have the answers but we have lots of Australian members who will chime in soon as they come back from their sail.
kind regards,

G'Day Vic and welcome.
I'm a fair way off Oz at the moment and certainly do not have the answer to your question - but someone else surely will.
Enjoy the site + the new boat.
Sail safe
JOHN
