Had we watched the movie "Hide Away" prior to purchasing our '86 Hunter 31 we probably would have opted out. Not true. We love the boat but still much to do after a year and still not sailing. Engine problems, which you'll be hearing about in the forums, lots and lots of teak to restore, extreme oxidation. A work in progress and a labor of love. We are moored at Pelican Point Yacht Club on Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia. Most of my past sailing experience has been in small boats in Hawaii, the Philippines and SoCal with a good bit of blue water cruising aboard larger boats so inland sailing will prove to be a bit tame I'm sure. A day spent sailing is a good day indeed though, wherever it might be.
