U R Welcome to Our Msia Home!

Hi & Hello,

My hubby and I decided to join this forum in order to keep our hopes alive.

It so happened that we moved to Malaysia earlier this year for work (Corporate American Co) and as the months roll by we are getting lighter on our feet and debts in order to make this transition from land to sea.

In the meantime we would still like to remain active with the boating community as a way to help us keep our focus until our boat becomes a reality. It is evident that if we keep tossing this idea around to family and friends, they try to dissuade you or think you have gone CRAZY

We are living in Penang, Malaysia around the Queens Bay area overlooking the ocean right between the two bridges. Those familiar with the area will know where it is.
We often see boats sailing in and out of the cove right next to Jerejak Rainforest Resort sometimes stopping there for weeks.
So we would like to extend a warm welcome to any cruiser/s who would like to stretch their legs while in port over a few pints and probably throw something on the grill while insight of your boat.
Hope to meet some really cool people while working in Malaysia.

Safe Journey,
From the Land Campers!

Hi Campers, will look you up next year. Penang is one of our favourite haunts as we cruise the area (over 10 years now). Currently back in Oz until next June.

Tientos,
Most definitely look us up next time you guys are in Penang. We have been here since March but just recently saw boats coming to our area. Most chose Langkawi or Straits Quay.
I would probably choose Langkawi too,,,,,, beer and liquor is so much cheaper there!
