Travis McGee Says Hi

I just found this forum, so I'm checking in to say hello. I'm 47, from the east coast, living in San Diego. We've got a 48 foot steel cutter which I built in Virginia. I've sailed it from the east coast to Guam and back to San Diego. Panama to Guam was solo. I've done other passages on other people's boats as well. Currently I'm living ashore, and our boat is docked on San Diego Bay. We'll probably relocate back to Florida in 2 years.

Sounds like you've traveled a bit on the blue.

And you own and operate a steelie. So, what's your opion on steel boats now that you've put one thru the works?

Welcome.
Do you still keep your dock at Bahia Mar (F018)?

you are sounding old Capt. May. Not sure all are old enough for the "Busted Flush". Have to make do with Randy Wayne White. Capt. Lat

I can't sound as old as I feel. I think it was dirt then me ...

At 47, I too (thought I) was young

I like Doc Ford and Tomlinson, but they operate on the wrong side of the peninsula.
