G'day KK , you'll find 'em a friendly crowd here and you'll get some real helpful information. When we get our next boat in the water we will be looking forward to getting up to Singapore , Lankawi and surrounding areas. It looks like a most beughtiful part of the world and we can hardly wait.
Again , welcome and enjoy . Dave PS: just added your site to my favourites list. Looks to be some good stuff there. |

hi dave,
langkawi, malaysia and phuket, thailand are popular crusing destinations. the area also has good marina support facilities. by contrast, singapore is just getting into the act. we also have a few marinas that are well maintained and affordable. i will be most glad to provide info you may require should you choose to come down. brisbane, i had been there more than a decade ago. but last year, my family holiday in perth. it was an enjoyable holidays. |

Welcome aboard KK
![]() I think every sailor that has sailed the Pacific has made it to Singapore. These pictures are from the early 70's. I'm sure it has changed a lot since then, as everywhere else. .................................................. ................._/) |

Welcome, KK! I know you will enjoy this forum.
My husband (Sunspot Baby on this forum) and I lived in Singapore from 1976-1983 - first near Newton Circus on Peck Hay Road, and then in Katong on Avon Road. We spent many happy days on and in the water during those years, in Singapore, Malaysia, and other countries. We still miss your beautiful island, the friendly Singaporeans, and the food. Oh! The delicious, wonderful food! Entlie Sailing Catamaran Sunspot Baby
