This is a Great Web Site for Newbies

Hi from Joe and Judy!
We sold the house and all the belonging. We start ASA sailing school soon and we need a boat. Sooo many to choose from. Looking for new or 2009 or better. A 40 + footer will be Okay. We are in the Galveston and Clear lake area. I guess we will join the yacht club to make new friends.

Ouch, I don't understand why anyone would ever buy a NEW boat. Anyway, welcome to CF and good luck to you!

Aloha and welcome aboard!
I'd recommend joining and visiting local clubs and talking with cruiser owners before purchasing a new or near new boat. There are many used bargains in sailaway condition now in this economy.
kind regards,
