The Dream

I have this dream to one day live aboard a boat.

My name is Adrian but friends call me Age(Age-ree-an).

I am a young man, born in 85 and own a small business here in NY.

Freedom

I was wondering about freedom.... if I took say a 40-50ft live aboard mono cc ketch and sailed the world. Would i find it?

We got a Huge Erosion problem and i thought it might of washed out to sea..lol

I have motorboat operation exp.only and little of that. I rebuilt a 15 foot rotten transom fiberglass once with a 33 Johnson on it.(my bass boat). But this sailing is like a whole new ballgame.

Your forum looks Great. Huge Intel Network with Super , almost live support.
I will try not to ask to many dumb questions or ramble to much.... but if i do Please be Gentle.. I am sensitive.

Hopefully the first answer i get will be. Thats the Stupidist Question i ever heard!
Fallowed by a Highly detailed Answer/s. I almost pizzed my pants reading some of the forums they were so funny but still highly informative.

I'm Not Sure Where I'm Going... But if i Get a boat i may Name Her EYEforeignEYE...or is it taken already?
hi Age
greetings
iw

Hi Age and welcome aboard. Everything worthwild starts with a dream. Just guard against the many naysayers you will encounter along the way and follow your own path. Don't get hung up and trapped in the rat race. Live while you are young and fit and when you are old and worn out like many of us here, then you can always find a "real" job.

Welcome!

Dreams are left to your imagination and should not be limited. Boating is limited to where you are not where you want to be. Learning the ways of boats helps maximize the possible. The worst part of dreams is what if they become true? Dreaming better can avoid the problem of getting what you asked for. The fear of failure is not as bad as the curse of success.

Hi,

Living on a boat is just like living in a house, only more fun.
