The Baber Family

Hello all ...

My name is Dennis Baber, (no vessel as of yet, we’re waiting for the baby to get out of diapers before we start sailing!!!)

My wife Misty, and our 3 children (Zen5, Nirvana3, Baby Bliss1) are looking forward to many years of sailing ahead!!!

Thanks for a great forum and looking forward to a far-reaching and audacious forum affiliation!!!

Sincerely,

Dennis

Welcome, Dennis and Family. Diapers on boats is not my idea of fun either! Hope you enjoy your stay here!

Start them sailing young. When they get to be teenagers they would rther not hang out with Mom and Dad unles they have a lot of sailing behind them. Lots of families sail. You just f9ind the way that works for you and yours. If you have fun then it means you got it right.

Aloha Dennis and all the Babers,
Welcome aboard! Good to have you here. As said, start the kids sailing early and they'll graduate from grunnions to deck apes in a hurry.
Kind regards,
JohnL

Always nice to see more families with kids!
We sure enjoy sailing with the kids when we can. The kids truly enjoy it. They still talk of our passage down the coast to Oregon when we bought our boat.
We hope to be able to do a lot more sailing this summer than we did last summer!
Our kids are between 3 years and twelve years.
We found that our Cal 2-29 was too small for the seven of us
