i am a 53 year old professional, who has spent much of his life
boating.Captained a
charter sportsfisherman in charleston, sc and also in
costa rica...and have a 35'
sloop i am now selling to
purchase a 40-50' cruising
liveaboard.
i am a 50 ton master, have lots of coastal experience and some
offshore.
i and my wife will be taking off in a few months to spend the next 5 years plus on the
boat cruising.
we have both been to the
bahamas plenty of times as well as Virgins, French west indies, grenadines...etc./ we plan on heading to grenadines the first season, then through the
canal and pacific/northwest...where we have never been.
Currently am in the
boat looking stage, and reading all we can,,,and surfing the net. love this site for its honesty and very informative conversation.
