SY Annabelle

Hello verybody, we are John and Natascha. We are Dutch and are the proud owners of a Breehorn 37. A Seegoing sailingvessel, concept of Dick Koopmans. We are very pleased to join this community. Hopefully we can drop some questions in due time, for we are planning to go around in about three years.
Greetings from us.

Re: SY Annabelle

Koopman's lines are very beautiful and he always designed sea worthy vessels. I didn't know that particular boat, but the drawings and the photos it looks to be very nice. I really like the interior layout for a 37 foot, it has everything a boat that size should have, and everything in the right places in my opinion (head close to the cockpit entrance, enclosed galley, private rear berth).

Im guessing you purchased it in NL? How much did such a 37 go for? Well done!

Greetings to you, J&N, and welcome to CF. You'll find us to be pretty friendly (as long as you avoid discussions of firearms, anchors, politics and multi vs mono hull boats), and a source of useful info.

I'm not familiar with your boat, but have noted that most Dutch designed boats are excellent sea going vessels... so if you could post a couple of pix or links I could educate myself a bit.

Re: SY Annabelle

Thanks for the warm welcome. Breehorns are build in the northern part of the Netherlands, Woudsend. A range of 31, 37, 41, 44, 48 feet. It’s not a series yacht but custom build.
