Starting my dream

Hey all! My name is Marko! I have been on boats since I was a young child with my dad always out around long island fishing. The last two years I spent a few weeks on my friends 1992 IP 35. I had a blast, absolutely loved it. Looks like my girlfriend and I will be making the move to actually buy his boat and take it down to the Keys this upcoming fall or winter and hang out down there for a few months and slowly start to head west and one day end up around the world. Ive been reading a lot everyday for a few weeks and I'm excited to get the boat in my hands and get out there and learn more. Looking forward to meeting some more fun people on the water and learn more! Happy to be in this mindset at the age of 29 instead of waiting a while!

Re: Starting my dream

Hey Marko,

29 fantastic age to go sailing. You can always retire after you have lived it to the max, seen the world and sailed your miles. Now taste the salt, sip your rum and enjoy the ride. Welcome onboard! Fair winds!

Re: Starting my dream

Great to hear. I sold everything and bought an IP 370 and plan to do the same once time to leave work. I assume you are a member of the IPYOA owners association. Great info there about all models and many topics. Along with these fine folks a great resource.
